Family Therapy

The main goal in working with families is to first identify the roles each member plays, followed by examining how those roles impact each member in the family. It is through exploring these dynamics (as well as communication styles) that we can better understand what needs to be addressed within the family system. The key objective of therapy is to focus on the family unit as a whole, and simply not on one individual. Through investigating the family, we will ultimately be able to work towards stabilizing dysfunctional relationships within the family and construct healthier connections.
